Cristopher C. Olsen
Dr. Cristopher C. Olsen, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 19, 2008 at the age of 34. Cris was born in Provo, Utah, but spent most of his life in Arizona. He attended McClintock High School in Tempe and received his B.S. in Zoology at Arizona State University. He attended dental school at the University of Louisville in Kentucky where he received his D.M.D. degree. Cris had practiced dentistry at Florence Family Dental in Florence, Arizona and was currently practicing at South Central Dental in Phoenix. He served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Spain. Cris loved to ski, hunt and fish, but his greatest loves were his children, Hannah, C.J. and Aubrie. He is also survived by his parents, Brad & Shari Olsen; sisters, Kelly Olsen, Courtney Olsen & Kendall Downing & her husband, Jason & son Dylan; grandparents John & Fawn Huish and Louise Olsen. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel at 1881 E. Del Rio Drive in Tempe. In lieu of flowers, an education fund has been established for his children at Chase Bank in the name of "Children of Cris Olsen", acct. #2749086092. Carr-Tenney Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
