You receive the error "can't be
started. Was unable to initialize the Windows registry. Rerun
Microsoft Access or Microsoft Office setup to reinstall..."
Windows VISTA is the first major OS release where compatibility of other
recent certified Windows compatible software does not function correctly.
Check your TopScore Pro version:
TopScore Pro DAT (USA) version 07.20.14 is VISTA compliant. If you
have this version and are experiencing problems, please fill out a Support
Request Form. Your version number is on the 4th installation screen or
within TopScore Pro "Help" menu.
Download and install TopScore Pro DAT (USA) version 07.20.14 click
here.
Otherwise, for other versions of TopScore Pro, to resolve this problem:
Turn off (uncheck) User Account Control (UAC) before you
try to unlock
TopScore Pro and this will let you
unlock your software when you are logged in as administrator. UAC option
is found under "Users" within the START> SETTINGS> CONTROL PANEL
(Windows START menu).
