The American Dental Association (ADA) announced changes to the Dental Admission
Test to be implemented during the Calendar Year 2015.
The following is a summary of the new 2015 changes to the Dental Admission
Test:
2015 Changes to Quantitative Reasoning Test
According to the ADA, they are attempting to "enhance testing of critical
thinking skills" by modifying the Quantitative Reasoning Test (QRT).
New testing areas will include Data Analysis, Interpretation, and Sufficiency;
and Quantitative Comparison (including, but not limited to, conversions;
probability and statistics; geometry; and trigonometry).
2015 Changes to Biology Test Specifications
According to the ADA, the Biology specifications will change slightly as
follows:
New testing areas will include:
Biomolecules - within Cell and Molecular Biology
Relationships - within Diversity of Life
Experimental embryology will be removed from Developmental Biology.
Cladistics will be removed from Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior.
